Alexandria Families For Safe Streets (AFSS) meets on the third Tuesday of a month. Topics typically discussed include street safety educational outreach efforts at public venues and ACPS schools, traffic regulatory issues at the state & local policymaking levels, advocacy projects regarding infrastructure improvements to Alexandria’s roads and updated analysis of “Near Miss” survey data collected.   In  the world of the Coronavirus, AFSS’s monthly meetings now are on Zoom, starting at 6:30 pm and promptly end at 8 pm.
